In addition to his works and projects, the book includes an interview prepared by Fernanda Canales and two critical essays about his architecture written by Juhani Pallasmaa and Edward R. Burian.
Born in Mexico City in 1977.
Graduated as an architect from the Anahuac University, joined the National System of Art Creators, and opened the Manuel Cervantes Céspedes / CC arquitectos office in 2004. In 2006, he set up a section in the office dedicated to urban and mass transport projects and began researching multimodal transfer centres (CETRAM) and transit-oriented developments (DOT).
He has received commissions from Mexican government institutions such as INFONAVIT, and urban and architectural projects in several Latin American countries. His teaching work has included workshops and lectures at several universities in Mexico, the United States, Spain and Portugal.
